A fictionalized account of a young boy in the 1820s whose family had immigrated to Costa Rica from Spain, the family’s adoption of a young Indian/African orphan, the boys’ adventures visiting the rainforest, and their ultimate adventure in search of purported treasures left behind by (now extinct) indigenous people.
